Backup and Restore

Basic Demonstrated Skills Required. (Candidates must meet all to qualify.)
Candidates must be able to:

Perform routine operations on a regularly scheduled basis.
Attend to details and organizational skills.
Understand at a high level Tivoli's Storage Manager backup software and the Windows 2K Server and UNIX operating systems.
Write and verbally communicate with network administrators and other B&R
Operators.
Implement approved backup and restore solutions, including regular trial restores.
Install and configure the backup hardware, software, and licensing.
Complete data restoration upon request.
Accurately document all operations, processes and procedures as required.
Provide a high level of intra shift communication.
Work with offsite archive vendors to rotate the tape library.
